Even the FBI is using ad targeting in social media to reach an extremely specific audience – Russian spies in the DC area. However, there were some challenges with their translation, which is a great reminder about getting the message right. To effectively connect we have to speak in terms that resonate with our audience. Showing up in the right place and have something of meaning and relevance to share are really the one-two punch.
